Canon comes Up with EOS M200! With 4K Video Shoot

Earlier, Nikon has unveiled its new camera model ad Fujifilm released the X Pro 3 film camera. Similarly another camera maker Canon comes with EOS M200 camera with 4K video shot and feature eye-detect AF. But this is entry level cameras, which has brought some useful upgrades to Canon’s popular entry-level mirrorless EOS M100. Besides the changes, it has retained the same 24.1-megapixel APS-C sensor as the last model; it has an updated Digic 8 processor as well. Basically, the M200 is aimed at smartphone users who want to upgrade their photo powers.

While, speaking about the up-gradation, are the Digic 8 processor and the ability to record UHD movies.  This include feature allows Canon to include Dual Pixel AF with Eye Detection on the EOS M200. Canon also added (cropped) 4K/24p video, 1080/60p. Other than this, the camera has automatic support for vertical video when you shoot in portrait orientation and export to an iOS or Android device.

Otherwise, the camera remains largely unchanged. You still get a 24MP APS-C CMOS image sensor, flip up LCD touchscreen for selfies, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless file transfer, and a compact, travel-friendly design. Alongside wit that, by using Wi-Fi, you can have free Canon Camera Connect app for iOS and Android. From here, images and videos can be downloaded, reviewed and shared manually. Images can also be automatically sent to a smart device as they are taken.

Besides that, the Canon EOS M200 has LCD touchscreen on flips 180 degrees, without rotation. Well, it features a Self Portrait mode to let the users to change settings such as background blur and brightness in real-time. For the first time on an EOS camera, the movie record button is displayed on the touchscreen when you select Movie Mode.

Other than that the camera has different features, these include Canon’s Creative Assist feature, a suite of effects, filters and color adjustment tools. It can be applied to photographs when composing an image or after it has been taken. These include a range of creative filters including Grainy black & white, Fish-eye and Soft Focus.
